The past couple of weeks, Kyle and I have dealt with our greatest trial yet. What have I learned from it? That with each other and a little bit of faith we can overcome any obstacle that stands in our way. I truly believe that sometimes we have to go through trials to realize our own strength and all of the blessings that we have to be grateful for.
We have had several opportunities to enjoy some time together despite these trials. Two weekends ago we took a mini day trip to Georgetown. We slept in, had a delicious Kerby Lane breakfast and went to the Inner Space Caverns. I love experiencing new things together and going to new places.

Last week we celebrated our two month anniversary with a special dinner. Friday, we went on a double date with some older church friends from Houston. We had dinner at Shady Grove (one of my favorite Austin restaurants) and then saw Caroline or Change at the Zach Scott Theater. It was amazing to see the set that Kyle built. It's one thing to here about the issues with cutting some boards to a certain length and not having the right screws every night....but to see the finished product is awesome. I am so incredibly proud of him! It may be tough only having one constant salary and money from various theater gigs, but I am so glad that he is making his dreams happen.
All in all life is good. Despite the chaos, I know we will survive. =o)
