Friday night between the hours of 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. a mysterious tool thief stole all of Kyle's tools out of his truck. They took the tool box that I gave him for Christmas (which was full of the tools that he uses for work) as well as two other tool bags. We've already notified the apartment complex as well as the police. We know that nothing is going to be making it's way back home, but at least we now have a police report number to use for insurance, or at the very least, a tax refund. Needless to say, we're bummed. We spent about $60 yesterday on replacing the absolute essentials that he needed for his gig today, but it will be a long time before everything is replaced. He had been collecting his tools for years and we have figured that it was about a $500-$800 loss. Real bummer.... I hope the tool bandit is caught if he strikes again here.

Tool Thief
